Biography

  1. Tuli Salum Msuya is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tanzania Forest Fund (TaFF) holding PhD in Forestry Governance. TaFF is a government based sustainable financial Institution charged with financial resources mobilization and proving support to forest protection, conservation, management, development and sustainable use of forest resources in Tanzania.
  2. Tuli Msuya has worked as CEO of Tanzania Forest Fund for 11 years (since May 2013). Before that, she worked with Tanzania Forestry Research Institute (TAFORI) for 18 years as Forest Researcher.
  3. For the period of working as CEO of TaFF, Tuli Msuya managed to increase TaFF financial resources from USD 1,495,338 in June, 2013 to USD 27,088,015 by June 2024.
Through her leadership, number of TaFF supported projects increased from 85 in 2013 to 1,037 in June, 2024; TaFF has organized 13th CAFÉ General Assembly in Tanzania in collaboration with EAMCEF, and TaFF has established South-South collaboration with Bolivian Private Environmental Fund called FUNDESNAP

Key Achievements
